Rest in Peace Mark James
Rest in Peace Mark James, age 63 of Howard, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at the OSU Wexner Medical Center following complications of a stroke. Mark was born on July 23, 1958, in Cleveland, OH to the late Bernard and Dorothy James. On September 20, 1985, he married Barbara Budusky at the St. Leo the Great Church in Cleveland, Ohio and together they shared 36 years of marriage.
Mark honorably served his community as a Cleveland Firefighter for 33 years. His survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara; beautiful daughters, Michelle (Kevin) Butts and Julianne (Anthony) Lewin; beloved brother, Dr. Michael (Wendy) James and charming sister, Bonnie James; beloved brothers in law William Budusky (Violet) and James Budusky (Karen). Also left to cherish his memory is his adored granddaughter, Annabelle Butts who was the absolute light of his life, many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Best friends of Mark and Barbara’s, Jeff and Linda Friedman have been left heartbroken with his passing.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Leo the Great parish in Cleveland on January 29, with a celebration of life to follow, to be held at the Union House, 2713 Brookpark Road, Parma. Times have not been confirmed yet.
A memorial celebration of Mark’s life for his Apple Valley family and friends will be held on his birthday in July. Details for that service to follow. www.ohiocremation.org
